The IT Support Analyst provides reliable first‑ and second‑level technical support to employees, resolving a broad range of hardware, software, and connectivity issues independently. The role supports users across office, remote, and field/rig environments, ensures timely incident resolution in line with service level agreements (SLAs), and works closely with HQ teams and local vendors to maintain stable and secure IT operations.

Operations:
• Provide technical support to end users via phone, email, remote access tools, and on site assistance
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues with minimal supervision
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and approved business applications
• Prepare and deploy IT equipment using approved system images; perform system validation and diagnostics prior to delivery
• Log, track, and manage incidents and service requests, ensuring timely resolution within SLA targets
• Act as a local point of contact for more complex user issues and coordinate escalation when required
• Support office, remote, and field/rig users, including participation in after hours or on call support during critical operations
• Maintain accurate IT asset inventory records and related documentation
• Coordinate with HQ teams and local suppliers to resolve incidents, deliver services, and support infrastructure or application maintenance
• Assist with IT rollouts, upgrades, and minor projects under the guidance of HQ teams
• Follow and help enforce IT standards, security policies, and operational procedures
Security
• Maintain awareness of and ensure compliance with all relevant cybersecurity protocols
• Proactive in identifying potential cybersecurity incidents and following established incident response and escalation procedures
Education:
• Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent preferred.
Professional Experience:
• At least 3-5 years working experience in a technical support role mainly end user support
• Experience in supporting cloud-based solutions such as O365.
• Demonstrate broad understanding of Microsoft desktop and the hardware on which those systems run. Knowledge and support of Linux environment is a plus.
• Demonstrate ability to install, configure and troubleshoot user environments - desktop or mobile.
• Experience using a Help/Support Desk application to manage work assignments, inventory control.
• Experience working in a team environment where problems solving and work tasks are developed amongst team members
• Experience in instructing users on the proper use of hardware or software applications
• Experience in Oil & Gas industry a plus
• Able to work independently and adapt to a dynamic working environment quickly
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
