Are you a seasoned HSE professional with strong expertise in management systems, governance, and data-driven performance improvement?

 

TotalEnergies EP Malaysia is seeking a Head of HSE Methods to lead the development, governance, and continuous improvement of our HSE Management System (HSEMS) in line with the One MAESTRO framework and international standards. This role is critical in driving a strong safety culture, ensuring robust compliance, and enabling data-informed decision-making across the organisation.

Your Impact

As Head of HSE Methods, you will:

  • Lead the development, implementation, and governance of the HSE Management System in line with One MAESTRO, ISO 14001, and ISO 29001 standards.
  • Act as focal point for HSE certifications, audits, and compliance programs, including coordination of internal and Group audits.
  • Drive HSE performance monitoring through data analytics, KPIs, and reporting tools, including ownership of Power BI dashboards and data workflows.
  • Oversee HSE digital tools and systems (e.g. Synergi, MyHSE+) and ensure effective governance, usage, and continuous enhancement.
  • Provide strategic insights through analysis of incidents, trends, and benchmarking to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Profil du candidat

What We Are Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Degree in Engineering, Science, or Occupational Health, Safety and Environment (or related discipline).
  • Minimum 7 to 10+ years of experience in HSE within the oil and gas industry, with strong exposure to E&P or offshore operations.
  • Proven experience in developing and managing HSE Management Systems and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of international HSE standards and frameworks including MAESTRO, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 29001.
  • Competence in data analytics and reporting tools, particularly Power BI, with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across functions and levels.
