Are you passionate about strategic planning, data-driven decision-making and driving operational efficiency in a dynamic upstream environment? We are seeking an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to support and enhance planning activities, ensuring alignment with TotalEnergies’ portfolio strategy and business objectives in Malaysia.

Activités

Your Impact

As a key member of the Planning team, you will:

Streamline affiliate Long Term Plan

    Support the preparation of TotalEnergies’ Long-Term Planning and annual budget 

    Consolidate planning and Portfolio input for management discussions and decision-making.

    Consolidate the assets performance and identify portfolio issues.

    Provide input and alignment support to subsurface, Finance and others departments for internal exercises.

Manage the affiliate Integrated Operations Planning

    Frame out affiliate integrated operation planning by considering all high-level assumptions.

    Consolidate data into LTP and IOP including BU, WPB and PDC.

    Accommodate into IOP all high-level decision by management ie. FID/Exploration/Drilling/Ops 

    Set up IOP based on the company rules (CR-OT-OPP-007), LT (24 months), MT (4 months) and ST (5 Weeks).

    Oversee the coordination of affiliate IOP, ensuring alignment with TotalEnergies’ strategy and objectives.

    Analyse and provide insights into variance explanations for performance metrics.

    Manage and refine activities planning, ensuring accuracy in assessment for management best decision.

Support the strategic planning for affiliate

    Support the preparation and coordination for strategic workshops for the management.

    Propose and improve cross-departmental collaborations to ensure strategic coherence between technical, commercial, internal (HQ) and external engagement activities.


Profil du candidat

What We Are Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will need:

    A Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Petroleum, Mechanical, Process) or related technical field.

    Minimum 7 years of experience in the oil & gas industry, preferably in upstream operations.

    Excellent analytical and numerical skills, strong attention to detail and ability to handle task with tight deadlines.

    Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions.

    Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and planning tools such as Primavera.

    Excellent command of spoken and written English.
