TotalEnergies EP Malaysia is seeking a Procurement Analyst (Drilling & Wells) to manage end-to-end procurement activities for critical drilling and wells operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring cost efficiency, compliance, and ethical procurement while supporting safe and reliable upstream operations.

Your Impact

As the Procurement Analyst (Drilling & Wells), you will:

  • Manage end-to-end procurement activities (pre- and post-award) for goods and services supporting Drilling & Wells operations, in compliance with TEPMY Procurement Procedures, TotalEnergies Global Procurement (TGP) standards, and PETRONAS Procurement Standards.
  • Prepare and manage procurement documentation including pre-qualification, tender plans, calls for tender, request for quotations, technical evaluation reports, award recommendations, contract variations, and extensions.
  • Collaborate closely with the technical duet to review cost estimates, challenge assumptions, and ensure alignment with market conditions.
  • Lead and support supplier negotiations to achieve cost optimisation while maintaining quality, HSSE standards, and delivery timelines.
  • Liaise with key approving authorities including the Contracts Committee, TGP, and PETRONAS to secure endorsements and approvals.
  • Uphold HSSE, sustainability, ethics, and compliance requirements across all procurement activities.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities through market intelligence, procurement analytics, and optimisation of procurement tools and processes.

Profil du candidat

What We Are Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of procurement experience, preferably within Oil & Gas and Malaysian PACs.
  • Strong working knowledge of tender management, contract administration, and supplier negotiation.
  • Familiarity with PETRONAS Procurement Standards and experience using SAP or ERP systems.
  • An analytical mindset, strong stakeholder management skills, and fluency in English.
  • Prior exposure to Drilling & Wells procurement will be an advantage.
