Contexte et environnement

TotalEnergies has set an ambitious target of reaching 100 GW of renewable generation capacity by 2030. Within this ambition, the Distributed Generation Business Unit (DG), which already signed 2,2GW of projects worldwide, aim to contribute to 6GW by 2030.


TotalEnergies Renewables Distributed Generation (DG), created in 2019 as a fully owned subsidiary of TotalEnergies SE, develops, finances, builds, and operates industrial and commercial solar PV systems worldwide. Typical operated sites range from 1 MW to 20 MWp, based on an onsite leasing or self-consumption contracts (depending on the country regulation), with possible integration of battery storage solutions.REC management


Scope of responsibility:

The Commercial Asset Manager (“CAM”) plays a key role in the commercial performance of the country PV operated assets, REC (“Renewable Energy Certificate”) management and stakeholders management. Reporting hierarchically to the local Country Manager and transversally to the Regional Commercial Asset Manager, the CAM is the main point of contact for the country solar B2B customers.

ACTIVITIES

Customers and internal stakeholders Management 

    Ensure smooth clients onboarding before COD (Commercial Operation Date) and contribute to pre-COD activities 

    Oversee smooth the country clients’ customers onboarding portfolio Eco for PV operated assets 

    Act as the key interface to customers for: 

o    Invoicing & billing, as well as being the main point of contact for query resolution with respect to invoices & billing; follow up on customer statement of account and overdue in coordination with Finance /Accounts Receivable Manager 

o    Payment Guarantee: ensure bank guarantees are in place for all active customer accounts 

o    Technical: be the main point of contact for in-bound queries from customers experiencing technical difficulties and notify customers of upcoming planned maintenance 

    Provide stakeholders clear insights about the commercial performance of the operated solar assets 

    Lead on time resolution of all commercial issues by identifying the root causes, and coordinating all stakeholders (finance, legal, PM, O&M, sales, management) to ensure smooth internal communication and processes 

    Record all information and customers feedback or complaints, in order to provide actionable "Voice of the Customer" data to relevant internal teams 

    Update and manage all customer cases in the company CRM and other relevant tools 

    Instill TotalEnergies values and safety culture 

    Manage the customer success surveys in collaboration with the Regional Commercial Asset Manager 

    Proactive in proposing new services/offers for clients to management, for additional revenues and clients satisfaction increase 


Assets Management 

    Compliance of the solar assets commercial performance with contractual obligations and regulation 

    Company risks identification vs signed contracts (e.g. LD, mistakes) and mitigation actions follow-up

    Commercial optimization of each operated PV asset through exhaustive billing and payment collection 

    Proactively contribute to the resolution of commercial performance gaps, for each operated site (site P&L) 

    Assist in the processes streamlining through digitalization 

    Ensure REC management is optimized in the country, in coordination with regional teams if needed 

    Fulfill other tasks and/or assignments requested by the tine managers whom the employee directly/indirectly reports to, and/or tasks requested by the Board of Management.


Profil du candidat

    Degree in business, finance, or related disciplines 

    Minimum 10 years' experience in managing B2B customers, in commercial/industrial sectors.

    Experience in renewable energy, particularly solar, is a strong asset. 

    Hybrid skillset encompassing technical understanding, financial acumen, and strong soft skills 

    Customer-oriented mindset with negotiation skills 

    Proficiency with Microsoft Office and knowledge of CRM platforms (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics).

    Team player, proactive, problem solver, empathetic, and able to manage priorities 

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and local language
