TotalEnergies EP Malaysia is seeking an experienced Lead Planner to play a key role in supporting development and construction activities by ensuring highquality planning, schedule control, and decision support across project lifecycles. This role is central to strengthening schedule governance, integration, and risk management within complex upstream development projects.

Your Impact

As the Lead Planner under Development Services, you will:

  • Own and maintain project planning and scheduling systems in line with corporate standards and methodologies.
  • Establish and apply endtoend planning procedures covering baselines, progress measurement, and reporting.
  • Develop and manage integrated schedules for development studies including Concept Select, PreProject, and FEED.
  • Monitor schedule performance, identify risks and variances early, and drive mitigation and recovery actions.
  • Conduct schedule risk analysis and scenario modelling to support informed, timely decisionmaking.
  • Ensure effective use and governance of planning tools such as Primavera P6 and Safran, with strong data integrity.
  • Integrate schedule, cost, and resources in collaboration with cost engineering and project controls teams.
  • Review, challenge, and align contractors’ schedules with approved scope, milestones, and project objectives.

 

Profil du candidat

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a relevant discipline, or equivalent project execution experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in planning and scheduling within upstream oil and gas projects.
  • Strong proficiency in planning tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and schedule risk analysis software.
  • Solid knowledge of project management, risk management, and change control processes.
  • Experience supporting development and construction phases across complex, multidisciplinary environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to anticipate issues and assess schedule impacts.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills across internal teams and contractors.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to influence, challenge constructively, and drive alignment.
