We are looking for someone who does not only want to play a key role in ensuring robust air emissions monitoring and reporting but can also step up and support the Environment Manager in reaching the goals and ensure compliance.

 

In this role, you will help shape and maintain strong compliance practices and support highquality emissions reporting. Activités

Key Responsibilities 
As an Emissions Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate monitoring, reporting, and compliance related to air emissions. The responsibilities include:

  • Provide support to the Environment Manager on all areas of air emissions
  • Coordinate yearly drone emission monitoring campaign including follow-up and presentation of data
  • Control, monitor and report air emissions (NOx, CH4)
  • Maintain the Predictive Emissions Monitoring System (PEMS) models
  • Monitor and report NOx emission levels towards limit compliance with large combustion plant permits
  • Provide assurance regarding compliance with standards and EU/Danish regulations for maintenance of flow meters
  • Coordination of gas sampling and lab analyses
  • Prepare NOx emissions data for reporting to authorities
  • Coordinate and follow-up annual NOx third-party verifications both onshore and offshore
  • Prepare procedures for compliance with air emissions monitoring
  • Conduct data analysis on emissions for quality assurance
  • Coordination/preparation of and participation in internal and third-party audits (onshore and offshore)
  • Act as the focal point for the EU Methane Regulation and ISO14001 Environmental Management System

Profil du candidat

What are we looking for in a candidate:

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across functions
  • A structured and quality-driven approach to compliance and reporting

 

Finally, it is an advantage that you have

  • Solid knowledge of national and EU environmental legislation
  • Experience providing regulatory advice, and communicating with authorities
  • Experience working with audits, authorities, and third-party verifications
  • Understanding of offshore operations

Your background

  • Preferably master’s degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in positions relevant to the responsibilities
  • Offshore travel is to be expected as part of the role for inspections, audits, and for general emissions related activities as required at a frequency of 1-3 shorter trips per year
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid BOSIET certificate and offshore medical for travelling offshore with helicopter
  • Fluent in Danish and English
