TotalEnergies operates a global trading ecosystem covering the full spectrum of commodities essential to the Company’s multi‑energy strategy: crude oil and refined products including biofuels, natural gas, LNG, and power. Our trading activities, span physical and paper markets worldwide supported by multidisciplinary teams based in Geneva, Paris, Houston, Dubai, Singapore and Athens.  

Our brand-new Athens affiliate is becoming a strategic Competence Center, designed to reinforce our operational capabilities across these commodities. 

Athens also offers a uniquely strong maritime ecosystem, making it an ideal location to further consolidate and expand our shipping expertise across global routes.

This new office will play a central role in supporting trading activities and delivering safe, efficient and high‑quality trade execution with physical and financial flows.

Activités

PAYMENTS

  • Checking and controlling payment orders against counterparties invoices.
  • Daily payment of margin calls (exchanges & bi-lateral).
  • Review, approve and release electronic disbursements against counterparties invoices. Ensure payments are released before deadlines & before cut-offs.
  • Daily matching & cash reconciliation of all accounts.
  • Monitoring cash deposits requirements and forecasting to ensure business adequacy.
  • Supporting and coordinating month end processes.
  • Troubleshoot daily transaction issues.

 

BANKING & COMPLIANCE

  • Ongoing maintenance and oversight of KYC files, Delegation of Authorities matrices, and electronic banking platforms.
  • Managed user access, permissions, and security controls on electronic banking platforms.
  • Managed the full lifecycle of bank accounts, including openings, closures, signatory updates, and documentation.
  • Ensured alignment of payment processes with internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Participate & lead FX projects to adjust to business needs.

FORECASTING & REPORTING

  • Assessing the daily cash position.
  • Aged debt monitoring, reduction & reporting.
  • Support with any other in-house reporting in coordination with the management.

 

 

SYSTEMS & PROJECTS

  • Work along with the team in IT project developments aimed to optimise our Treasury tools.
  • Ensure bank accounts are connected to our ERP.

 

 

AUDIT

Work with internal & external auditor’s request alongside the Senior Treasury Coordinator / Manager


Job Dimensions:

Daily cash management of gross receivables & payables, ensuring timely payment and receipt of funds.  

Relationships, KYC and DOA with multiple banks covering active bank accounts in multiple currencies.

Daily management of Forex (FX) balances.

Analysis and management of treasury reporting.

Profil du candidat

  • The job holder should ideally have a first degree or equivalent, preferably in a business, legal or alternatively at least 3-5 years’ experience in a treasury & compliance role preferably from a Trading background.
  • Strong IT knowledge: Microsoft Office, Power Bi, VBA etc. 
  • Fluent in English. French and/or other European languages are an asset.
  • Strong leadership capabilities to supervise KYC & DOA activity.
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational, analytical and financial skills.
  • Able to prioritize and to work under pressure and keep the calm in stressful situations while having a clear mind. 
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and ability to lead transverse projects.

 

  • A good team player and leader with the trading mindset (teamwork, agility, driven by result & open-mindedness) and the ability to work independently and supervise an experienced Treasury team
