TotalEnergies EP Malaysia is seeking an experienced and driven Emergency Management & Resilience Specialist to strengthen our HSSES function. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the affiliate’s readiness to respond to emergencies and crises, in full alignment with TotalEnergies IMS 300, Company Rules, PETRONAS Governing Standards, and Malaysian regulatory requirements.

Your Impact

As the Emergency Management & Resilience Specialist, you will:

  • Serve as the focal point for the affiliate’s Crisis and Emergency Management System, ensuring alignment with IMS 300 and Group requirements.
  • Ensure continuous readiness of all emergency and crisis response structures, including CMC, IMT, ERT, KL Office teams, and the Emergency Control Centre.
  • Plan, coordinate, and evaluate emergency drills, crisis simulations, and Group-led large scale exercises, including certification activities.
  • Maintain and regularly update the Emergency Response Plan and Crisis Management Plan, and support the integration of Business Continuity Plans.
  • Coordinate lessons learned, assurance and maturity assessments, continuous improvement actions, and act as the key interface with PETRONAS, authorities, external responders, and internal stakeholders during emergencies.

Profil du candidat

What We Are Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, HSE, Emergency Management, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in emergency response, crisis management, resilience, or HSE roles within oil and gas or other high-risk industries.
  • Demonstrated experience leading or coordinating emergency drills, crisis exercises, and multi-stakeholder response teams.
  • Strong knowledge of emergency management frameworks, regulatory requirements, and operational risk environments.
  • Effective communicator with senior management, regulators, and external responders, and willing to be on call outside normal working hours during emergency situations.
