Contexte et environnement

TotalEnergies has developed strong expertise across oil and biofuels, natural gas, electricity and low-carbon energy trading. Our trading activities are conducted from key international hubs, including Geneva, Paris, Houston and Singapore.

Geneva is home to TotalEnergies’ European trading hub, bringing together large and diverse teams across Trading & Shipping and TotalEnergies Gas and Power.

TotalEnergies Gas and Power is the Company’s trading arm for gas, electricity, liquefied natural gas, carbon emissions and other low-carbon energies. It operates in fast-moving and increasingly regulated markets, requiring continuous adaptation, strong risk awareness and robust compliance frameworks.

The Geneva trading teams are responsible for optimizing purchase and sales portfolios across recognized global markets, while operating in accordance with the Company’s trading guidelines and applicable laws and regulations.

Within this dynamic environment, the Compliance team plays a central role in protecting the integrity of our activities and supporting the sustainable growth of the business.
