Your Responsibilities 

• Reporting & Controlling: The plant controller is in charge to timely analyse during the monthly closing process of the plant, the industrial and supply chain performance of the plant and to actively participate in the preperation of the monthly reporting and closing feeding the business reviews and management presentations

• Budgeting, Forecasting & LTP processes: The incumbent contributes to the Budgeting, Forecasting and LTP processes for the direct production costs of the plant, guaranteeing the participation/commitment of the operational areas as well as the quality of the end product. The plant controller identifies variances with budget/forecasts and brings clarity and transparency to the plant management team

• Material flow: the plant controller is in charge to ensure the correct translation of the material flow in the Accounting in coordination with Finance

• Performance management: the position is directly involved in the plant economic performance management process from an economic standpoint and supports the operations. The plant controller is responsible to bring clarity and data driven discussions to Operations. The plant controller participates in the monitoring of economic performance management KPIs and challenges economic performance across Manufacturing and Supply Chain fucntions for the plant. The incumbent is responsible in particular to liaise with the Calculation Team to get a deep understanding of the procuction costs, understands the deviation versus standards and tracks action plans

• Process management and standardization: the position promotes continuous process improvement and standardization in collaboration with the Finance department

   

Your Profile 

• Degree in finance, accounting, management or a related field

• 5 years of professional experience in financial/management control or a similar position

• Experience in industrial complex environments is a must

• Experience in financial reporting, variance analysis and costing, forecasting and budgeting

• Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data

• Good knowledge in IFRS and international accounting standards

• Proficiency in office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI) and financial management software (SAP)

• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines

• Change management capability

• Good communication skills

• Results orientation and integrity

• Bilingual proficiency in German and English is mandatory

• Experience in an international or multicultural environment
