Join the Refining-Chemicals Finance Department and become a key player in performance management as an Inventory Performance Analyst.

 

🚀 What does the role involve?

💡 Your role in practice

Do you want to be at the heart of the financial performance of a global industrial activity?
In this role, you will directly contribute to the measurement, analysis, and reliability of the European petrochemicals margin.

👉 Your objective: transform complex flows (inventory, purchases, sales, pricing, etc.) into reliable indicators that drive business performance.

Atividades

📊 Performance monitoring

  • Contribute monthly to the preparation of economic results for various Business Units
  • Ensure consistency between physical flows, invoices, and financial data

 

🔄 Flow & operations management

  • Analyze and correct purchase/sales flows of products across the European platform
  • Monitor “paper” operations and currency hedging positions

 

💰 Inventory & margin: the core of the role

  • Value inventories (FIFO / LIFO / replacement cost methods)
  • Control purchase variances and contribute to the understanding of gross margin

 

🌍 European coordination

  • Drive and harmonize costing across petrochemical sites
  • Contribute to quarterly closings (intercompany, reconciliations, etc.)

 

📈 Analysis & cash

  • Perform working capital (WCR) analyses (customers / suppliers / inventory)
  • Produce ad hoc analyses to support decision-making

 

⚙️ Processes & continuous improvement

  • Contribute to structuring processes (procedures, SOX compliance)
  • Participate in transformation projects, particularly around AI and automation

🌍 Your environment

  • An international and dynamic environment at the heart of petrochemicals
  • Daily interactions with back office, operations, controlling, and industrial sites
  • High stakes around data reliability, VAT, and physical flows

👉 You work at the interface between finance and business, on concrete topics.

📈 What you will develop

  • Strong expertise in cost accounting & inventory management

  • Exposure to modern topics (AI, process automation)

 

Perfil do Candidato

  • Master’s degree in Finance (or equivalent)
  • ~1–3 years of experience in finance / controlling
  • Comfortable with modern IT tools
  • French / English / Dutch is a plus
