Are you passionate about ethics, integrity and compliance in a highly regulated environment? We are seeking an experienced Compliance Lead to implement and continuously enhance the Company’s Compliance Programme, helping to safeguard reputation, promote a strong speak‑up culture and ensure adherence to applicable laws and internal standards across TotalEnergies’ operations in Malaysia.

Your Impact

As a key member of the Compliance team, you will:

  • Implement and animate compliance programmes (trainings and awareness, integrity communications, conflict-of-interest declaration exercise) across TEPMY. 
  • Circulate Company rules and procedures and monitor their effective application. 
  • Perform compliance duties required by applicable directives and procedures, including due diligence tasks and facilitation of audits/controls. 
  • Conduct and document third-party screening and due diligence (including KYC checks: Politically Exposed person, corruption, sanctions, reputational risks) and ensure proper evidence and traceability. 
  • Draft, enhance and advise on compliance policies; provide guidance to departments. 
  • Support corruption risk assessments and anti-corruption audits; coordinate Anti-Corruption Accounting Control (ACAC) annual exercise. 
  • Monitor e-learning completion and performance indicators, report participation levels and follow-up actions.
  • Ensure monitoring of local actions to confirm proper execution of the Compliance Programme, directives and norms; contribute to periodic and annual reporting. 
  • Perform any other duties as reasonably directed by the Compliance Officer and Compliance Coordinator.

Perfil do Candidato

What We Are Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies or a closely related field from a recognised university.
  • At least 8 years’ experience in Compliance, preferably within a regulated or oil & gas environment.
  • Strong knowledge of anti‑corruption, compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements.
  • High standards of integrity, confidentiality and good organization and attention to detail.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to train, advise and challenge constructively.
  • Strong reporting and documentation skills, with proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English.
