Are you a recent graduate eager to build a strong foundation in IT infrastructure, operations, and cybersecurity within a dynamic upstream energy environment?

 

TotalEnergies EP Malaysia is seeking a motivated Graduate IT Analyst to join our ITS Operations team. This structured 2‑year Graduate Programme provides hands‑on exposure to enterprise‑grade technologies across network operations, server & data center environments, cloud platforms, cybersecurity monitoring, storage & backup systems, and IT service management.

Your Impact

Throughout this 2-year programme, you will play a key role in supporting the stability, performance, and security of the company’s IT infrastructure. You will:

  • Assist in monitoring network performance, troubleshooting LAN/WAN issues, supporting VoIP/unified communications, and participating in supervised configuration activities.
  • Perform server health checks, assist with hardware maintenance, rack management, and support provisioning, patching, and virtualization tasks.
  • Execute scheduled backups (Veeam/Commvault), validate restoration processes, and participate in Disaster Recovery drills and documentation.
  • Monitor alerts, support incident triage, analyse system logs, assist with vulnerability management, and contribute to security awareness initiatives.
  • Handle first level support via ITSM tools (ServiceNow), log and categorize incidents, and assist in preparing change requests and impact assessments.
  • Update operational documents, configuration records, network diagrams, and support audit preparation aligned with IT security and regulatory standards.

Perfil do Candidato

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field (recent graduates encouraged).
  • Basic understanding of networking, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and virtualization (VMware/Hyper‑V).
  • Having awareness in cybersecurity fundamentals and familiarity with cloud platforms or monitoring tools.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, teamwork, and adaptability skills in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Internship or academic experience in IT operations, system/network administration, or cybersecurity is highly desirable.
