Atividades

Context

You will join the Energy Management team in Liège, responsible for sourcing and pricing energy commodities (gas and electricity) for B2B and B2C portfolios, with a strong focus on market exposure management.


Core Responsibilities

  • Aggregate and consolidate data from multiple systems to produce daily and weekly exposure reports
  • Monitor and analyze risks related to supply activities (electricity, gas, OTC certificates)
  • Provide relevant indicators to support decision-making


Risk & Modelling

  • Contribute to the development and improvement of quantitative models used to assess risks in energy markets
  • Support the implementation of risk indicators (e.g. stress tests, market scenarios, hedging strategies)

Process Improvement & Projects

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes (design, optimization, implementation)
  • Identify discrepancies, solve issues and improve data reliability
  • Participate in cross-functional projects with Management Control and Business Intelligence teams


Reporting & Tools

  • Structure and improve reporting tools to enhance management visibility
  • Strengthen internal data and analytical tools

Perfil do Candidato

Education

  • Master’s degree in a quantitative field (engineering, mathematics, economics or equivalent)


Technical Skills

  • Advanced skills in data analysis and programming - Python is mandatory
  • Experience with data management and version control tools (Git, GitHub or GitLab)
  • Knowledge of Power BI is a plus


Languages

  • French: C1 level
  • English: B2 level
