Context & Environment

🔍 Position Context

Join OneTech, a key pillar of the Company’s transformation, within the Rotating Equipment team. You will be involved across the full lifecycle of rotating equipment: front‑end studies, project execution follow‑up, support to sites and subsidiaries, as well as participation in Strategic Research and Technology Programs (SRTP).
 Your mission contributes to the Company’s ambitions, including:

  • Optimizing the energy performance of facilities,
  • Reducing carbon footprint,
  • Integrating innovative solutions to extend equipment lifetime.

📍 Location

Available locations: Paris – La Défense, Le HavrePau.

Atividades

🛠️ Main Responsibilities

You will play a key role by:

  • Overseeing conceptual, pre‑project and engineering studies through to manufacturing, reception, installation, commissioning, and start‑up of rotating equipment — with potential assignment on the relevant site/project.
  • Coordinating engineering activities and suppliers during project execution.
  • Conducting technical studies leading to decision‑making, under the supervision of the discipline lead for complex topics.
  • Preparing, updating, and managing technical reference documents, and promoting their use across sites and subsidiaries.
  • Performing technical expertise activities: failure analysis, on‑site investigations, supplier qualification audits.
  • Leading or contributing to internal technical networks.
  • Supporting field teams during major planned shutdowns.
  • Contributing to research programs and technology watch initiatives.

Short trips (2–3 days, twice a month) and occasional international assignments may be required.

Perfil do Candidato

🎓 Candidate Profile

Technical Skills

  • Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering (e.g., INSA, Arts & Métiers, Polytech, etc.).
  • At least 10 years’ experience in rotating machinery with hands‑on exposure to construction, commissioning, and operational support.
  • Strong knowledge of: 
    • Gas turbines, centrifugal or reciprocating compressors, pumps
    • Vibration analysis
    • API / ISO standards
  • Appreciated knowledge of Oil & Gas Upstream, FPSO, LNG, CCGT, Petrochemicals, and Refining.
  • General understanding of instrumentation, electrical engineering, and process engineering.

Soft Skills

  • Autonomy
  • Active listening & effective communication
  • Strong writing skills and analytical mindset
     

Languages

  • Very good command of English required
  • Knowledge of French is an asset to facilitate integration
