To successfully support the growth of electricity and renewable energy activities, TotalEnergies has created a new entity called OneTech, which brings together all technical and R&D expertise from across the business segments (Exploration & Production, Refining & Chemicals, Marketing & Services, and Gas, Renewables & Power). With nearly 3,400 engineers and technicians spread across 9 sites in Europe, OneTech is organized into three divisions: an industrial division supporting the Company’s growth in gas, renewables, electricity and CO₂ emissions reduction; a Research & Development division driving TotalEnergies’ transformation with a strong focus on low‑carbon solutions; and a support functions division.

You will join the ICE entity (Imaging Center of Excellence), which leverages a new technology still under development.

Atividades

As a Beginner Reservoir Engineer – Digital Rock Physics (M/F) trainee, your missions will be:

- Update and improve the existing Python codes for 2D data processing (make them user‑friendly)

- Design and test a setup that allows 2D X‑ray saturation monitoring simultaneously on several microfluidic flow cells within the micro‑CT tool

- Perform experimental measurements and interpretation of relative permeabilities to validate the project

Have you recently graduated with a Master’s degree in Computer Science ? Start your career with a stimulating experience at the heart of international teams committed to the energy transition!

We are looking for a Beginner Reservoir Engineer for a 12‑month position starting in April 2026.

Are you comfortable with IT tools and proficient in Python, Linux, and the Microsoft Office suite ? You will use these technologies daily to develop interfaces dedicated to data processing and analysis.

Are you interested in geosciences and the oil & gas sector ? Solid knowledge in applied mathematics (coding), reservoir engineering, and petrophysics will be real assets for succeeding in your missions.

Are curiosity, rigor, and perseverance among your strengths ? They will help you thrive in a demanding and highly technical environment.

We offer you a 12-month full-time professional training contract (100% in-company), including a training component (business, language, tools, etc.). This training is provided in-house by organizations selected by TotalEnergies. This contract will enable you to gain a year's professional experience while being trained in the specifics of your job in relation to the Company's activities.
