Atividades

The Head of Smart Room ensures safe, reliable and efficient operations through real-time monitoring and analysis of plant and well data. The role coordinates Smart Room activities, supports site operations, optimizes production and ensures compliance with HSE and environmental regulations.

 

Key Activities

  • Ensure compliance with HSE standards and Italian regulations.
  • Promote HSE and quality policies.
  • Coordinate environmental analyses and regulatory reporting in case of deviations.
  • Develop and monitor gas leak detection and emissions control tools.
  • Coordinate a multidisciplinary Smart Room team.
  • Monitor real-time operational data to detect deviations, alarms and abnormal conditions.
  • Support site operations to prevent trips, abnormal emissions and excessive flaring.
  • Issue operational instructions during routine and non-routine events.
  • Ensure daily minimization of flaring.
  • Optimize production through real-time well and process analysis.
  • Monitor critical equipment performance and trigger corrective actions.
  • Support shutdowns, restarts and abnormal operating conditions.
  • Contribute to process event analysis and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Ensure consistency and reliability of operational data.
  • Prepare timely technical and HSE reports following operational or environmental events.
  • Manage Smart Room databases and reporting tools.

Perfil do Candidato

  • Engineering degree with strong site experience. 
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in upstream oil & gas operations. 
  • Background in process operations, wells, integrity, utilities, flaring and emissions. 
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams. 
  • Autonomous, calm, organized and effective under pressure. 
  • Strong communication and cross-functional skills. 
  • Italian required; fluent English; French is a plus.
