▪ South Africa is a key country for TTE REN and the affiliate is growing and will enter into a new phase with projects under operations

Atividades

The Head of O&M South Africa is responsible for setting up an organization that ensures achievement of targets in terms of availability, production, and asset lifetime, in compliance with safety standards and contractual requirements, including:

▪ Define and implement local O&M strategy in line with TTE’s global O&M strategy

▪ Ensure global management of operations and maintenance in line with local strategy, defining priorities, recruit and organize team accordingly

▪ Implement and continuously improve TTE’s governance, processes, and reporting

▪ Prepare the department budget

▪ Ensure application of TTE’s policies and directives

▪ Develop team skills and professionalization

▪ Ensure the proper and adequate management of all operation and maintenance activities of the project companies under TERSA’s management

▪ Responsible for monitoring, optimization and continuous improvement of plant performance and availability to ensure optimal project outcomes

▪ Responsible for achieving key performance indicators targets set by the boards of the respective project companies, such as operational e.g. production and availability or HSE indicators

▪ Ensure compliance with contractual obligations of the project companies under TERSA’s management

▪ As a member of the management team, contributes to the overall management of TERSA

▪ Regular reporting to management, HQ and the boards of the project companies under TERSA’s management Working relationships

▪ Internally, the role interfaces amongst others with Asset Management, Construction team, Development team, Engineering, Legal, Finance, Compliance, and QHSE.

▪ Externally, the role works amongst others with contractors, suppliers, and certain public authorities.

▪ Within the Group, the role liaises amongst others with the Global Performance and O&M teams, OneTech and participates in technical committees. HSE To effectively manage and minimise HSE risk within your area of responsibility by ensuring:

▪ Compliance with all HSE Policies, rules, guideline and legal requirements

▪ The promotion of a safe working environment and positively contributing to the company's HSE KPIs and risk reduction strategies

▪ That HSE competency requirements are identified & enforced within your area of responsibility

▪ Responsible for ensuring compliance with all TTE’s HSE policies rules guidelines and legal requirements (to the extent possible) within all project companies under TERSA’s management

Perfil do Candidato

▪ Bachelors degree in Engineering and preferably also Law or Commerce

▪ Minimum 10 years of operation and maintenance experience in the global energy space (renewable and/or large scale industrial projects)

▪ Strong knowledge of regulations governing power generation assets

▪ Strong understanding of renewable asset O&M issues

▪ Strong knowledge of safety standards

▪ Good knowledge of budgeting processes

▪ Successfully recruited and managed multi-disciplined team members

▪ Synthetic and analytical mind, process, results, project and team oriented, perseverance, adaptability, autonomy, open-mindedness, interpersonal skills

▪ Fluent in English (French as a plus)
