Atividades

The HSE Methods & Integrity Engineer supports the Company in ensuring compliance, process safety and operational integrity across industrial activities. The role contributes to risk management, HSE systems implementation and continuous improvement, in line with Italian regulations and international HSE best practices.


Key Activities

  • Support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the HSE Management System, in compliance with Italian legislation (including Seveso Directive).
  • Contribute to the preparation, update and follow-up of Seveso documentation, Safety Reports and audits.
  • Assess HSE and Process Safety risks associated with operations and assets, organizing and contributing to risk assessments, technical safety studies and definition of mitigation measures.
  • Participate in Management of Change processes, HAZID/HAZOP sessions and follow-up of recommendations (ability to lead studies is a plus).
  • Support incident investigation, root cause analysis, lessons learned and corrective action tracking.
  • Ensure occupational safety documentation (DVR, HRAF, DUVRI) and operational HSE procedures are up to date.
  • Provide process safety support to day-to-day operations, including field activities and critical tasks.
  • Support integrity monitoring through KPI tracking and HSE/process events reporting.
  • Contribute to audits, self-assessments, safety culture initiatives and emergency preparedness activities (drills and exercises).
  • Support HSE and integrity aspects related to projects and drilling & wells activities, when applicable.

Perfil do Candidato

  • Master’s degree in Chemical or Civil Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas or a comparable industrial sector.
  • Solid knowledge of HSE regulations and management systems, with specific expertise in Seveso legislation (D.Lgs. 105/15).
  • Strong background in Process Safety, technological risk assessment and occupational safety.
  • Experience in audits, incident investigation, risk assessments and technical safety studies.
  • Practical exposure to operating or production environments; drilling experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills; proactive and team-oriented mindset.
  • Fluent in Italian and English.
  • Qualification as Safety Trainer (DM 6 March 2013) is considered a plus.
