Activités

The HR Specialist position is responsible for:

  • Know, respect and ensure compliance with the Company's Code of Conduct.
  • Provide professional support and advice to Managers & employees in relation to Human Resources Issues.
  • Support the HR Manager in developing and implementing HR Strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of HR programs and program.
  • Implement Labor Relations in the Affiliate as needed by the Surinamese Labor Law.
  • Provide professional support to GM, VPs and HR Manager on Labor Relations topic.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures relating to Human Resources.
  • As HR Operations Master, is responsible for the data quality in our HRIS.
  • Update and maintain data in the HRIS.
  • Prepare and present HR Reports and analytics to HR Manager and senior management when required.
  • Use data and metrics to drive HR Decision-Making process and improve HR Process.
  • Serve as acting HR Manager in the absence of the manager, taking on all responsibilities and duties.

Profil du candidat

Qualification/ Experience required:

Qualification level required for the position: Level 6 = Bachelor’s or equivalent level.

Technical skills required for the position: Expertise of Surinamese labor laws and regulations. Strong Knowledge on HR Data & Reporting.

Behavioral competencies required for the position: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Conflict resolution and negotiation skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. High level of integrity and professionalism.

Language skills required for the position: Fluent in Dutch & English. French is a plus.

Specific knowledge required for the position: Surinamese Labor Market Knowledge.

Level of experience required for the position: +15 years in Human Resources, including experience in a matrix organization.
