Profil du candidat

A strong candidate will have experience:

 

  • Proven track record and ability to generate business leads and close deals in the Spanish B2B energy sector
  • Excellent sales and communication skills
  • Success-oriented & ability to deliver 
  • Analyzing the market to identify potential key customers in line with TotalEnergies’ ambition.
  • Building long-term relationships and structuring pricing proposals
  • Experience in modeling offers
  • Coordinating with technical teams internally and externally
  • Negotiating high-value contracts to a close
  • Be flexible and proactive to deal with complex situations and achieve sales targets

Activités

  • Responsible for the development and achievement of sales through the direct & indirect sales channel
  • Identification of Commercial & Industrial prospects likely to enter in a Solar on-site Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) or Lease Agreement, leveraging it with TotalEnergies product and services portfolio in Spain.
  • Exploitation of the company’s leads database to engage new clients.
  • Realization of commercial proposals (preliminary, non-binding and binding offers) destined to create value for our clients considering their global electricity supply and proposing solutions that meet their objectives.
  • Prospection and development of strategic partnerships (EPC’s, TPI´s and/or Agents) for the promotion and sale of the on-site PPA. Following up and coordinating the preparation of proposals with them.
  • Clients’ relationship management from first contact to PPA signature
  • Focusing on growing and developing existing clients.
  • Identification, analysis and negotiation for the acquisition of new pipe (M&A)
  • Providing support in defining value propositions and viable business models for solar B2B in Spain
  • Follow-up and monitoring of all business evolutions potentially impacting the development of generating and selling solar PPA contracts or equivalent in the perimeter.
  • Competitor’s information gathering to continuously benchmark Totalenergies’ solution.
  • Collaborating in commercial document generation.
  • Commercial representation of TotalEnergies before public and private organizations and institutions, on issues related to their competence and in the assigned area of action.
  • Participation in industry forums/events to promote the TotalEnergies PPA Solution.


Contexte et environnement

TotalEnergies has strong ambitions in the development of solar Utility Power Plant scale with public and private off takers within its perimeter (focusing mainly in Japan, Europe, South Africa, Middle East, USA), and in the development of energy storage worldwide. Iberia is a key area within TotalEnergies to achieve this strategy, and the ambition is to establish a sizable UPP portfolio in Spain.

The Renewable Project Developer is responsible to develop renewable projects and will manage closely the execution of the assets in coordination with the Business Development and Operation and Asset Management department of TotalEnergies Renewables Iberica.
