Local Content development is key for the country’s development, to address Authorities and local communities’ expectations and consequently for Project’s social license to operate.
Cascading properly Mozambique LNG’s obligations to the supply chain is the corner stone of an efficient LC plan execution and reporting on Local Content is paramount to convince the authorities with the right evidence and to reduce project’s risks.
Position is situated in Maputo with potential trips to, and contacts with, TEPMA1’s operations site and other locations in Cabo Delgado Province and the rest of the country with relevance for the Project.
Activités
Coordinate the Local Content reporting towards Project (including contractors) employment, procurement of goods and services, and capacity building.
Coordinate the reporting and monitor the progress of other relevant training programs
Coordinate the development of Local Content reporting platform
Assist the Contract Strategy’s Lead with monitoring Mozambique LNG contractors’ commitments towards Local Content.
Assist in preparing reports and drafting presentations and communications to external stakeholders as required.
Coordinate with relevant parties:
Local Content studies and audits
Inclusion of local content commitments, and evaluation of local content proposals
Develop Local Content success stories and key achievements while ensuring they are captured in the Project newsletter, Mozambique LNG website, and other communications channels.
Support TEPMA1’s HSE practices in the workplace by reporting incidents or unsafe conditions and implementing mitigation actions as possible, and when required, stop unsafe works being performed and advise on best practices.

As required, develop synergies with discipline leaders and main contractors to collect data and information for Project Reporting
Support Local content team and as required other with market intelligence.
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent
Professional Experience (years): minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience.
Fluency in Portuguese. English is a plus.
Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Power BI is a plus.
