New affiliate overseeing 4 projects: Common Seawater Supply Project (CSSP), Gas Mid-stream Project (GMP), Associated Gas Upstream Project (AGUP), Solar Power Plant (SPP). 4 diverse projects in various stages of advancement. The Ratawi Hub is currently producing the Ratawi field, in addition to preparation for the other projects’ deliverables by 2026. The Affiliate activities requiring the creation from scratch of a solid IT structure, with strong IT operations to ensure efficient support to business, and delivery of IT services, in a challenging and new work environment.

The incumbent has close and regular contacts with the Company HQ (DSI EP, OneTech and TGITS), with all divisions of the affiliate and with other IT leads in other affiliates. 

Is responsible for representing the company with vendors, suppliers, and amongst JVs and other industry peers when IT is concerned.

Assists the business with all its information, application and Metier/digital requirements.

Activities

• The incumbent is responsible for:
  • Coordinating, planning, and leading IT related activities on the different sites of the affiliate (and dependencies) 
  • Ensuring, maintaining essential IT operations including security tools, applications, servers, systems, laptops, software, and hardware 
  • determining the IT needs and is responsible for implementing solutions to fulfill the organization's information systems requirements
  • Ensure a good level of IS user support for all the business entities
• Ensure implementation IT infrastructure evolution projects  
  • Ensure site IT Team supervision of locally managed IT projects 
  • Facilitate compliance with TotalEnergies’ Corporate recommendations, international/national rules and standards 
  • Recommend technical architectures and solutions to enhance compatibility of new installation with existing IT infrastructure 
• Supervise and coordinate the operation and maintenance of TotalEnergies EP Ratawi Hub IT infrastructure 
  • Ensure the continued availability of IT equipment by planning and implementing preventive maintenance 
  • Ensure and direct (with appropriate prioritization) repair interventions on equipment in case of faults or breakdowns 
  • Ensure the optimal stocking of equipment spares or parts and other IT consumables 
  • Define the functional interfaces between IT systems and equipment with other Company’s facilities: electrical power supply, instrumentation, and production facilities 
  • Supervise the activities of the IT Support located on the remote sites, in order to respect the technical architecture, processes and TotalEnergies’ Corporate recommendations 
• Supervision of IT operations and support
  • Define procedures to harmonize the operations on site according to Total rules, referential and good practices
  • Ensure that IT installation and maintenance activities respect HSE rules and regulations 
• Ensure the execution of service and maintenance contracts 
  • Ensure compliance with contractor’s SLAs (IT support and IT infrastructure)
  • Escalate in time critical/important issues regarding contract execution 

Develop good relationship with service, maintenance contract supervisors and material suppliers.

Accountabilities

• Ensure team leading of TEP Ratawi IT personnel and Help IT manager to build the budget for the site 
• Ensure continued availability of IT services (support included) on the different sites of the affiliate. 
• Ensure compliance of the execution of service and maintenance contracts with SLAs, 
• Ensure appropriate prioritization of intervention activities,
• TEP Ratawi Hub IT entities work in partnership with the Business to introduce, innovate and apply digital technology in to deliver productivity gains and competitive advantage to the Company, ensuring all solutions provided are fit for purpose.  The team assists the business with their information and digital requirements, providing a reliable, efficient, and cost-effective service in an extremely challenging environment to ensure that customers can manage their information and collaborate effectively.
• Ensures with L-ECSO and L-ICSO that security measures are compliant with Company recommendations and specifications

Ensures HSE requirements are considered when designing, implementing, or maintaining an IT solution; Ensure zero LTI in IT operations and project activities. 

University degree (MSc) in IT or Telecommunication Engineering. 10 years’ experience in IT installations and operations, five of which should preferably be within the Oil & Gas industry, 

Must be organized, service-oriented, pro-active and be able to handle different systems/projects simultaneously and effectively, 

Must have good interpersonal skills, be able to communicate and listen effectively, with a sense of service, assertive yet courteous and willing to work long, flexible hours; Organization, autonomy, reporting ability, communication, team spirit. Ability to work remotely with multi-cultural teams.
