You will be working within the TotalEnergies affiliate in Maputo, Mozambique, as part of the Geosciences & Reservoir (GSR) team responsible for the subsurface development and resource management of approximately 65 Tcf of recoverable natural gas to be developed through multiple phased projects. A Final Investment Decision (FID) was taken in 2019 for the first LNG development—a 13 MTPA, USD 20 billion project—marking a major step in the company’s ambition to expand its global LNG business. In this role, you will also contribute to future upstream developments, supporting long‑term growth and sustainable resource optimization.

  • Participate in the company’s recurrent annual reserves exercise and contribute technical inputs to the Long-Term Plan
  • Update, maintain, and optimize wellbore and reservoir models, including executing dynamic simulation runs to evaluate scenarios and optimize future depletion strategies
  • Monitor reservoir and well performance, identify optimization opportunities, and support decisions related to well interventions and field development
  • Liaise with multidisciplinary departments—including drilling, operations, production, planning, and facilities—to improve overall field management and asset performance
  • Prepare clear, high-quality technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders
  • Support reserves evaluation, field development planning, and operational activities as required

Perfil del candidato

    • Operational exposure
  • Knowledge of reservoir geology, geophysics, and integrated subsurface workflows (an advantage)
  • Exceptional analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and data quality
  • Solid understanding of industry regulations, standards, and best practices
