Actividades

The Industrial Sales Executive is responsible for:

Strategy

  • Fully accountable for commercial and business development activities within the designated area.
  • Execute sales plans to meet performance expectations and business requirements.
  • Identify new market opportunities for Industrial Fluids and liaise with stakeholders to drive business growth.

Commercial

  • Manage sales activities across the designated area and execute the route-to-market strategy through various channels, including direct sales and distributors.
  • Develop a strong and reliable portfolio of customers and business partners.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with prospects and customers by providing support, information, guidance, and recommendations on new opportunities, profitability improvements, and service enhancements.

Operations / Support

  • Provide Supply Chain, Technical, and Marketing support to country distributors and key accounts.
  • Review supply plans and recommend key products and appropriate safety stock levels to Operations. Ensure sales performance aligns with forecasts to optimize inventory levels.
  • Closely coordinate and communicate customer action plans and requirements with internal operations teams to meet customer expectations in line with the company's overall objectives.
  • Implement Group policies relating to HSEQ, Human Resources procedures, and Compliance.
  • Work closely with the Technical Engineer to address customer technical issues and requirements.

Financial

  • Responsible and accountable for the monthly sales volume and GMVC of the assigned area, including managing and controlling the allocated budget.
  • Manage the credit control of assigned customers, ensuring timely collection and effective management of debt exposure, with a typical accounts receivable portfolio of approximately x MUSD (BU 2025).

Perfil del candidato

Qualification Level: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Technical Skills: Minimum 1 year of sales experience; experience in the lubricants industry is preferred.

Behavioral Competencies: Demonstrates adaptability across diverse cultures, accountability, self-motivation, and strategic thinking.

Language Requirements: Strong proficiency in English with excellent communication skills. Proficiency in local Malaysian language(s) is required.

Specific Knowledge: Experience in tendering and bid management, strong selling and negotiation skills, effective presentation and stakeholder management capabilities, and comprehensive knowledge of regional market trends, competition, and industry developments.

Experience: More than 2 years of relevant experience.

  • Grow the profitability of the IO business within the assigned segment by leveraging all lines of the P&L.

  • Manage local key accounts, distributors, and direct customers.

  • Spearhead designated IO market segments, acting as the Segment Market Manager for the country.

  • Collaborate with other Segment Market Managers within the Cluster Hub and at regional and global levels to drive market development initiatives.
