Location : Penang
The Industrial Sales Executive is responsible for:
Qualification Level: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Technical Skills: Minimum 1 year of sales experience; experience in the lubricants industry is preferred.
Behavioral Competencies: Demonstrates adaptability across diverse cultures, accountability, self-motivation, and strategic thinking.
Language Requirements: Strong proficiency in English with excellent communication skills. Proficiency in local Malaysian language(s) is required.
Specific Knowledge: Experience in tendering and bid management, strong selling and negotiation skills, effective presentation and stakeholder management capabilities, and comprehensive knowledge of regional market trends, competition, and industry developments.
Experience: More than 2 years of relevant experience.
Job purpose
Grow the profitability of the IO business within the assigned segment by leveraging all lines of the P&L.
Manage local key accounts, distributors, and direct customers.
Spearhead designated IO market segments, acting as the Segment Market Manager for the country.
Collaborate with other Segment Market Managers within the Cluster Hub and at regional and global levels to drive market development initiatives.
