You will work for our Marketing and Services branch which is responsible to help our business and retail customers to optimize their transportation experience and operations through our wide range of products and services.
Your focus is to ensure a timely execution of all commercial transactions through the successful operation of optimization and scheduling jet fuel distribution along 6 pipeline systems. Inventory, forecast, relationship with terminal and pipeline operations team, month end responsible and so on. You are scheduling 1 product for the Aviation business and are the primary backup to the other scheduler on the team.

You will contribute to the development of the Aviation activities taking into consideration the roadmap and ambition of the Group. Located in Houston (Texas), you will be our Jet fuel scheduler in charge of Chicago/Dallas and Denver area.

N+2 - USA Aviation Manager
As part of your missions, you are in charge of:
Operations
* Ensure pipeline scheduling of the main pipelines across the country to transport Jet Fuel: coordinate with the different Pipeline Companies and Suppliers, respect the nomination procedures, and determine delivery/receiving terminals as well as volumes shipped and timing.
* Oversee logistics and follow up on inventories at the different airports/terminals: daily reconciliation of product received/delivered, reconciliation with pipeline and airport tickets. Track product movements against schedules; record in relevant systems; maintain accurate and available documentation on a daily basis for all deliveries. Track line history on all pipelines.
* Forecast customer demands for the next 2 months through direct interaction with customer’s operation teams and through tools such as Big Bird and others. Compare forecasted volumes and actual uplifts in order to improve forecasting process and maintaining target inventories.
* Attend weekly inventory meetings, present status of all locations and work alongside Supply & Logistics Manager to ensure all sales contracts and pricing is captured accurately
* Assist Sales Supply & Logistics Manager in troubleshooting logistic issues.
* Upkeep of all the scheduling function procedures.
* Member of the Mass Balance Committee
Commercial/Business Development
* Convert contractual data into the requisite information for nomination and scheduling; prepare and update nominations and corresponding documentation in Transport4, SAP, Excel, and MEDISSYS; distribute to appropriate parties in a timely manner.
* Assist the Sales Supply & Logistics Manager in researching new airports and logistic avenues (pipeline, marine, trucks) in order to expand the footprint.
Pricing, Controls and Invoicing
* Process of all logistical invoices (pipeline tariffs, terminal storage/throughput, into plane agent services, product testing documents, etc.) for transportation and storage.
* Create, review, document, and efficiently maintain all product transactions on a timely basis in SAP (P2R).
* Assist Middle Office and/or Supply & Logistics Manager in inventory control process relating to the monthly inventory reconciliation process and proper price risk management (hedging).
* Coordinate with Accounting personnel in creation and updating of information records for customers and vendors.
* Verify and approve invoices for specific contracts as needed
* Prepare routine ad hoc material reports as required by Management and other groups within TEMUSA.
Month End Close * On a monthly basis, work with Billing, Accounting and other support functions to ensure a proper close, including inventory reconciliation, reviewing accruals and service entries while meeting strict deadlines and maintaining all other operational responsibilities.
* Bachelor degree in Business or Supply Chain or Operations
* Three to five years prior experience in logistics scheduling or operations recommended.
* Microsoft Office (high skill level with Excel), SAP experience.
* Exposure to refined product trading terminology.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivated team player with a strong sense of accountability.
