Are you an expert in contract management and procurement methods, ready to drive efficiency and compliance in the energy sector? 

 

We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Contract Management & Methods Manager to lead procurement processes that optimize value, ensure regulatory compliance, and strengthen supplier quality management within TotalEnergies EP Malaysia.

Your Impact

As a key part of our Procurement team, you will:

  • Lead procurement methods, systems, and process improvements to ensure efficient, compliant, and value-driven sourcing.
  • Oversee contract management activities, ensuring compliance with TEPMY/TGP/PETRONAS regulations and maintaining quality standards.
  • Develop essential monitoring tools for contract and procurement performance tracking.
  • Manage supplier quality assurance through regular audits and compliance assessments.
  • Ensure proper documentation of contractual agreements, amendments, and contract closure processes.

Perfil do Candidato

What We Are Looking For

We seek an experienced procurement professional with the expertise and leadership skills to elevate our contract management functions. To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

  • A bachelor’s degree (preferably in Engineering or Quantity Surveying).
  • 15+ years of experience in the oil & gas industry, with a strong background in contract management and project execution.
  • 10+ years of direct involvement in local/international contracts (EPC/EPCIC, Transportation, Installation, HUC).
  • Deep understanding of PETRONAS Procurement Standards (PPS) and strategic sourcing for upstream operations.
  • Proven ability to liaise with key support functions (cost control, planning, finance) to drive contract performance and compliance.
  • This position is open to Malaysian citizens or permanent residents only.

The Company also signed a deal with Petronas and Mitsui in 2023 to develop a CO2 storage project in Southeast Asia and assess several potential sites in the Malay Basin.
