Join our affiliate TotalEnergies EP Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur !

In a dynamic and fast-changing environment, we are looking for a VIE Analyst to join our energy strategy team in Malaysia. This is a unique opportunity to work on key issues related to the energy transition.

The main tasks will be as follows:

1/ Competitive intelligence :

   - Carry out continuous monitoring of the Malaysian energy market, identifying trends, key players and innovations.

   - Analyze competitors' strategies and assess their impact on the market.

2/ Opportunity Analysis:

   - Conducting in-depth market research to identify development opportunities in the renewable and low-carbon energy sector.

   - Assess government policies and local initiatives that could influence the energy sector.

3/ Putting together project study files

   - Working with in-house teams to develop project briefs for low-carbon projects, incorporating technical, economic and environmental analysis.

   - Participate in the preparation of presentations and reports for management and stakeholders.

Perfil do Candidato

Expected qualifications:

  • Engineering degree
  • A master degree in economics/business would be a plus


Technical skills:

  • 1st similar experience (internship, job) with cross-disciplinary skills
  • Knowledge of economics, finance, engineering
  • Very good analytical skills


Computing skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office : Excel, Word, Powerpoint
  • Strong technical skills 
  • Experience in data visualization and reporting using Microsoft Power BI would be a plus

 

Languages:

  • English: level B2/C1
  • French: level B2/C1
