At TotalEnergies, we offer the opportunity for engineering students with a BAC +4 or BAC +5 who wish to prepare for a cycle in Energy and Processes (ENEP), Energy and Markets (ENM), or Energy and Products (PRO), Processes and Polymers (POLY) with IFP School to join us on a work-study basis.

You will alternate between the school located in Rueil-Malmaison (92) and one of the TotalEnergies sites : the Normandy Platform - 76.

The apprenticeship will take place within the Service Exploitation du vapocraqueur. Steam cracking is a complex operation due to its process, as well as the nature of the materials and technologies used. The integration of this operation into a continuous process with several downstream units increases this complexity.

By joining our teams, you may be required to:

_Conduct studies and monitor critical operating windows, alarm management: identification, management, and reduction of unnecessary alarms to improve responsiveness and safety.

_Improve the daily monitoring of the unit to optimize production.

Education:

You hold an engineering degree or an equivalent diploma issued by a university or a foreign school - level bac+4 or bac+5.

Expected Experience:

You have initial experience through internships and/or work-study programs in the energy sector (refining, petrochemicals, chemicals, oil & gas, new energies) or other related industrial sectors.

International experience is desired.

Skills:

Minimum required English level: B2+ according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), a certificate to be provided or a test will be required by the school (TOEIC score of 850, or an equivalent test such as IELTS, TOEFL Ibt, etc.)
