Are you interested in being a crane discipline focal point in our Field Operation Maintenance team? Do you thrive with having the overall responsibility for maintenance, improvements, quality checks and high reliability? If yes, then this position at TotalEnergies in Esbjerg might be your match!

Atividades

As Crane Specialist in the Field Operations Maintenance Department, you will be able to shape and develop a central role with great influence in following the end-to-end process for corrective and preventive maintenance operations related to your discipline. This is with the possibility to continuously learn and develop your competencies in ensuring the high reliability of the cranes to guarantee safe and efficient operations. This includes ensuring the reliability of the equipment, lifetime extension and limiting the downtime in case of breakdown. You will get to use your knowledge and experience applying a range of techniques when establishing long-term strategies and plans for crane maintenance.

 

Overall, you have the responsibility of partnering and delivering sparring to our maintenance contractors when planning and executing crane operations. You will be responsible for defining the strategy and ensuring that it is followed and executed well by our contractors. In addition, you will provide technical input for new contracts and tender processes. 

 

Furthermore, you will collaborate with our Headquarter regarding the crane specialist domain. You will also share knowledge and advise based the team’s experience in our Esbjerg office and give this as input to other affiliates and our Headquarter. Finally, you are responsible for managing repairs and upgrades of cranes to ensure they are ready and available and working safely and efficiently. This includes ensuring and keeping track of the expected life span of the cranes. 

These areas of responsibilities will include tasks such as: 

 

  • Manage the backloads of equipment for refurbishment and reintegration into stock with strong cost awareness
  • Perform Quality Control of to-be shipped components required for critical activities  
  • Participate to the SQMs (Supplier Quality Meetings) for the contracts related to your discipline
  • Review the work orders for the execution of the maintenance tasks related to your disciplines according to the work preparation quality requirements with a proper cost consciousness
  • Provide input for the budget exercises and timely inform/consult the team lead for potential over-runs 
  • Manage the backlog and define actions to limit the size of backlog to a manageable amount
  • Contribute to the Campaign scope preparation
  • Engage with site personnel, contractors, and vendors on a regular basis
  • Contribute to the Planning and Scheduling processes
  • Ensure relevant documents in our Company Management System are up to date

Perfil do Candidato

It is important that you possess a safety mindset and address the job with a strong understanding of the business and people. Naturally, you thrive in a highly independent and visible position in a free and dynamic working environment. Moreover, this position calls for specific technical knowledge related to offshore cranes, standards and legislation. This is with the ability to understand, explain and present to both technical and non-technical audiences in a compelling manner. Also, excellent interpersonal and communicative skills are essential. We are looking for a strong team player with the ability to build relationships and work constructively with our maintenance partners, Original Equipment Manufacturer and customers to achieve business goals. 


 Preferred Qualifications

  • A bachelor engineering degree level or other relevant technical background
  • 10 years in Oil & Gas industry with specialist knowledge in cranes and lifting equipment
  • Experienced SAP user
  • You excel in cross-functional collaborations
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in oral and written English. Danish understanding would be beneficial
