As a Financial Accountant, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of renewable energy in the UK. Your responsibilities will include:

• Gathering and collating data to produce and analyze accurate reports for budgets, forecasts, and monthly year-to-date management accounts reporting (Shuttle) to strict deadlines.
• Supporting the preparation of statutory accounts, accompanying notes, and assisting with any audit queries.
• Coordinating with other service providers for various activities (group funding requests, quarterly VAT submissions, tax returns, branch returns, statutory accounts, legal and board requirements, etc.).
• Ensuring appropriate cash calls are made according to the interests in each entity and joint venture, and ensuring correct reporting of joint venture billing.
• Overseeing and monitoring the month-end closing process, including review and preparation of accruals and cost allocation.
• Operating as the point of contact for all JV matters, preparing monthly management accounts, chairing finance committee meetings, and ensuring timely delivery of agreed action points.
• Supporting the execution, confirmation, and settlement of CFDs and other energy derivatives.
• Executing daily cash duties, including processing outgoing payments, recording incoming cash transactions, and daily cash position analysis.
• Supporting ad hoc projects.
• Demonstrating exemplary behavior regarding H3SE and implementing H3SE rules and requirements within your area of responsibility.
