Atividades

Responsibilities and Framework 

In an international context, the main responsibilities of the Legal Counsel are as follows: 

  • Supporting the Head of Legal: Assisting in managing the legal affairs of the M&S corporate entities with an Aviation business, coordinating with regional legal hubs and subsidiary lawyers within the direct management scope. 
  • Commercial Development: Accompanying the commercial development of the Aviation activity internationally and in France, particularly the emerging sustainable aviation fuels activity. 
  • Contractual Advice: Advising and supporting International Sales Managers in preparing, drafting, and negotiating supply contracts with airlines and other clients. 
  • Contractual Documentation: Participating in updating various contractual documents required for traditional commercial activities and those related to sustainable aviation fuels. 
  • HSE Team Guidance: Advising HSE teams on setting up technical assistance contracts globally. 
  • Legal Research and Advice: Conducting research, providing legal opinions and assisting commercial and operations managers of the Direction Aviation in contracting new commercial offers and managing and monitoring participations in joint ventures. Optimizing their strategic and asset operations from a legal standpoint. 
  • Joint-Venture Management: Analyzing and updating internal registers of joint ventures within the Aviation scope. 
  • Risk Assessment: Assessing and mitigating legal or contractual risks up to operational decision-making. 

Perfil do Candidato

FINALITES 

- You have a Master2 in business law, ideally supplemented by a postgraduate degree in common law abroad.

- You have an excellent level of professional English.

- You will have at least 7 years' experience in large industrial groups or law firms dealing with a variety of issues such as contracts, giving you a good understanding of organisations, industrial and commercial issues, as well as the players, products and services involved.

- You know how to negotiate in an international context.
