The anticipated annual salary for this position is $140,000 - $160,000 depending on qualifications, experience and market.

Atividades

  • Support the WTG package through its evaluation of the available WTG technology and products and their suitability for the project 
  • Support the technical product evaluation from different scenarios leading to the WTG final selection for the project. 
  • Support the WTG Package Manager in the engineering and detailed design phase of the package, from both a technical and project management perspective. 
  • Play an active role in WTG document management and delivering on key package requirements. 
  • Support the WTG package in the WTG selection including the proposal of future local supply chain creation.
  • Manage the engineering activities from the Early Works Agreement with the selected WTG supplier. 
  • Provide necessary technical support to the other packages during FEED studies.
  • Provide support to the contractual negotiations to build agreements with the WTG supplier 
  • Review and/or prepare technical specifications, schedules and other technical documentation.
  • Identify and manage interfaces between the WTG package and other work packages in accordance with the project’s interface management system.
  • Support the WTG package through WTG manufacturing, delivery, installation, commissioning, and handover to O&M.
  • Promote good practice in respect to quality, health, safety and environment within the WTG package’s scope, including ensuring all project procedures and policies are implemented. 
  • Provide SCADA support throughout the commissioning and handover of the WTG assets as well as supporting Grid testing.
  • Management of technical documentation, including coordination and review of inputs from other project packages, and external parties such as consultants. 
  • Tracking and review of all WTG NCRs, component deliveries, SoQs, walkdown inspection and take over inspections.
  • Contribute to RAMS review for all relevant WTG Package Works.
  • Manage and track the As-Built documentation to be handed over to the Service team.
  • Support the requirements of the WTG Package in maintaining effective and organized control of construction works, with focus on safety, quality, cost, and program.

Perfil do Candidato

Join TotalEnergies Renewables USA, LLC as a Wind Turbine Generator Senior Engineer reporting to our NYC office.  This is a new addition to our team as we are strengthening our presence in renewable energies.


The Wind Turbine (WTG) Engineer will support the selection of WTG technology for the project, be responsible of the engineering activities associated with WTG customization and of delivery of the WTG supply, installation and commissioning works, including but not limited to project engineering, document control and construction planning and execution activities. 


What You Will Bring:

  • Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering degree or similar
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in the offshore wind sector ideally working with Turbine Supply Agreements and/or Service and Maintenance Agreements
  • Experience in managing Early Works activities with contractors.
  • Deep knowledge of the WTG OEM technologies is required.
  • Good understanding on the commercial structure of WTG agreements (PSA, EWA, TSA, SAA)
  • Experience in reviewing technical documentation required for EWA, TSA and SMA contracts.
  • Previous experience in tower and foundation design in the context of offshore wind is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of risk mitigation practices. 
  • Knowledge in offshore construction activities as well as the interfacing packages schedules
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in multicultural environments, with the ability to enable effective discussion and cooperate with international partners in a constructive manner.
  • Excellent organization skills with the ability to manage own workload, meet timescales and coordinate a number of external and internal stakeholders, sometimes under tight timescales.
  • Proficient in basic Microsoft Office suite 
  • Experience in management of an EDMS is an advantage.
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English.
