Join our affiliate TotalEnergies EP Norway AS in Stavanger !

As a subsea robotics engineer, your main missions will be as follows :


  • To support the ambitions and objectives of the R&D Subsea Robotics Project
  • To support the Project Leader maintain a portfolio of emerging State of the Art Technologies within the Subsea Robotics perimeter
  • To assist with the execution of Subsea Robotics projects and witness testing activities globally
  • To support the Project Leader in using a subsea robotic simulator to further develop methods of evaluation of the performance, by defining missions in a simulated subsea environment and evaluating performance of the vehicle technology by calculating metrics to demonstrate the concept of near real time evaluation of performance
  • To support the Project Leader with the development of analyzing operational data (both payload and vehicle) to identify emerging opportunities to assist with Asset Integrity.



Perfil do Candidato

Expected qualifications:

Master degree in Engineering or Mathematics relevant to position (Mechatronics, Software, Data analysis)


Technical skills:

  • Strong knowledge in Robotics or Mecatronics, software engineering, subsea engineering and/or data science
  • Good data analytical skills



Computing skills:

  • Knowledge of Python
  • Knowledge of data analysis tools
  • Knowledge of PowerBI



Languages:

  • English: level C1
  • French: level B2
  • Norvegian : A2 - not necessary, although an advantage if some knowledge/wanting to learn
