This role is based at the Port Arthur Platform within the Maintenance and Turnaround Department. It has several direct reports and manages a variety of contractors. Turnaround budgets can range in size from ~$50MM USD to over ~$100MM USD.

It is about leadership, coordination, teamwork, and execution. Being able to challenge the stakeholders to minimize scope yet still provide what is necessary. Being able to work across the site with many different groups including Operations, Maintenance, Capital Projects, and Accounting & Finance as well as the other turnaround groups.

Activities
1. Turnaround Preparation:
Leads the turnaround preparation for a specified area following the TotalEnergies governance and company rules.
Supports the Turnaround Manager with setting up the preparation team.
Facilitates scope development.
Manages the preparation team.
Follows and reports the performance and status of preparation activities.
2. Turnaround Execution:
Lead the Execution Team
Manages, controls, and optimizes the workforce.
Ensures that craft resources and materials are deployed in the most cost-effective manner within the Turnaround Budget.
Establish a pro-active safety approach and ensure safe execution of all works,
Manage and control all extra works. Analyze the justification of extra work and support the management team to decide by delivering the correct information concerning the associated risks.
Bachelor’s degree; Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
Minimum of 15 years in a combination of maintenance, turnaround, or engineering.
During a turnaround or outage, this position may work 12 to 14 hours per day for extended periods.
