Atividades

  • Assist in specified projects in a support role for Logistics and/or Demand Planning.
  • Assist Technical Service, Applications Lab and Portfolio with projects at the Polymers Technical Center.
  • Assist Sales Group
    • Act as liaison between sales, customer service and logistics to troubleshoot urgent service issues
    • Initiate, enter and track customer complaints.
    • Assist Pricing Coordinator in monthly activities.
    • Assist w/contracts providing return analysis, editing contract structures, proofing documents, managing & tracking approvals.
    • Assist with sales reports and presentations as needed.
    • Attend sales meetings and conference calls.
    • Visit customers with Regional and National Account Managers.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational improvement opportunities; reading sales and marketing publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in sales and marketing organizations.
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers, internal and external.
  • Representing your organization at trade exhibitions, market conventions, events and demonstrations.
  • Shadow senior sales managers, account executives, and sales teams on a daily basis.
  • Learn key details of account sales and customer relationship management.
  • Assist with trials and new product development through technical service shadowing.
  • Investigate root cause and analysis for customer product and logistic complaints.
  • Understand key applications and product needs in each market segment.
  • Develop a basic understanding of polymer processes and testing.
  • Develop a sense of preparation needed for customer visits.

Perfil do Candidato

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Minimum of 3 years in the industry.
  • Experience handling data and using Word, Excel and PowerPoint to create reports and presentations is important.

Skills:

  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a self-directed environment.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role is advantageous.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (Spanish proficiency is a plus).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate smooth collaboration across various business functions.
  • Comfort and success in a competitive, fast-paced environment.
