Context & Environment

Green Field Project, Tilenga is a remote location in UGANDA near Albert Lake with particular sensitive environmental conditions. Huge onshore challenging project: heavy and waxy oils produced from 31 pads, (with 10 located in a national park) and treated in a Production Center of 200,000bopd oil capacity and 650,000 bwpd of water treatment capacity. Dedicated to gas treatment, LPG recovery and storage facilities will be located at site with 25 trucks of LPG loaded per day (3 loading bay in operation). Reservoir pressure maintenance is ensured either by water injection and by polymer water injection depending on the reservoir’s characteristics. The project also includes an extended interconnecting network with temperature preservation. LPG extraction, storage and tankers loading facilities are part of the CPF facilities.
