Atividades

The jobholder serves as the primary point of contact with counterparties, overseeing the execution of contracts that drive the Total Group’s domestic and international trading activities across North America, South America, and the Caribbean. This role is central to ensuring smooth operations and maintaining strong commercial relationships in a fast-paced global trading environment.

Key Responsibilities and Support Activities:

  • Ensure that accurate information is represented within the risk management system (Medissys Geston) by confirming deals with counterparts on a daily basis.
  • Validate payables and receivables invoices in the risk management system on a timely basis to optimize cash flow and adhering to contractual due dates.
  • Reviewing and managing contracts
  • Assist the accounting department when necessary in the recovery of funds from counterparties and the reconciliation of accounts.
  • Maintain electronic filing system for the respective area of responsibility.
  • Track shipping documents (bills of lading, custom documents, etc.) and re-direct to the correct counterparty.
  • Serve in a back-up capacity for other Trading Operators Assistances who are on vacation or during scheduled absences
  • When needed, help keep the team organized by assisting in general back office duties including faxing, archiving and filing.
  • Assist the Manager on an “as needed” basis on special projects and audit work.

Perfil do Candidato

  • Bachelor’s degree with internship or paralegal experience; 0–3 years of professional experience a plus
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively
  • Strong analytical abilities and proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Detail-oriented, rigorous, and proactive problem-solver
  • Team-oriented self-starter with a commercially minded approach
  • Adaptable and receptive to change, thriving in dynamic environments
