Context & Environment

Located in Houston, headquarters in US for TotalEnergies in the United States. HR Talent Acquisition & University Relations team is responsible for leading, supervising, and administering recruiting activities for all participating US TotalEnergies affiliates. 

This position sits in the US OTOC organization providing talent acquisition activities as a shared service to both internal and external affiliate customers. Direct reports may sit with their dedicated client group. This is a highly matrixed setting with numerous stakeholders and subjects running concurrently. Priorities are frequently shifting, and the incumbent must be agile and able to manage shifting priorities. This position also requires the management of a complex team in a hybrid work environment with a heavy reliance on contractors / outsourced recruitment teams.

Accountabilities: 

  • The incumbent directs the overall Talent Acquisition & University Relations activities for US TotalEnergies Affiliates.
  • To manage stakeholders in a highly matrixed organization (metiers), with very diverse employee populations 
  • Maintain a very high level of internal customer satisfaction 
  • Ensure that the recruitment practices comply with Group Code of Conduct and US, state and local employment law and compliance requirements

 

Atividades

Talent Acquisition

  • Ensure alignment of all recruitment activities across the US
  • Ensure all reporting and compliance requirements connected to recruitment activity in the US are delivered
  • Champion the use of global solutions for talent acquisition, for example Avature, One Board 
  • Ensure stakeholder engagement predicting recruitment trends and deliver a cost effective, customer focused service aligned with business needs
  • Participate in the development and adherence of the departmental budgets as it relates to talent acquisition and retention activities.
  • Provide key metrics related to recruiting efforts including average time to fill, average cost per hire, offer to close, hires per month, and manager response time.
  • Identify emerging and innovative strategies for recruitment and attracting quality new hires to the organization.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation; execute strategies to improve hiring processes, build capabilities in data-driven decision making, talent forecasting, sourcing techniques, and interview best practices.
  • Manage outsourced recruitment team(s) using key metrics to track and improve the quality of hires and recruitment. Communicate regularly and provide feedback to ensure outsourced providers are aligned with talent acquisition goals and expectations.
  • Together with the team of Digital & HR Operations Services develop strategies for managing contractor population in the US, including alignment of agencies, rates, selection and hiring of candidates, onboarding and offboarding 
  • Manage the delivery.

University Relations

  • Manage Intern and Graduate Programs for the US for all participating TotalEnergies affiliates
  • Manage VIE Program for the US: This includes visa, onboarding, accommodation, ongoing support while on assignment.
  • Develop and implement the campus recruiting and talent pipeline strategy.  Leverage Group recruitment tools and resources.
  • Collaborate with branches and departments to understand their intern and employment needs. Assist in coordinating and executing the fulfillment of those needs. 
  • Oversee and ensure on-campus employment branding is effective and aligned with company standards. 
  • Encourage employees to be brand ambassadors
  • Understand our current school relationships and make recommendations about future relationships. 
  • Manage and nurture relationships with faculty, career centers and students, by expanding our campus presence through alumni relations, sponsorships and campus-sponsored events.

Perfil do Candidato

  • Minimum Education: Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience in Human Resources or relevant business field
  • Minimum Experience: 10+ year of experience in Human Resources; prior experience in recruitment strongly preferred
  • Required Skills: Must be detail oriented and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a timely manner. Experience in management of recruitment contracts
  • Must be knowledgeable of federal, state, and local employment law & compensation markets.
  • Position requires outstanding interpersonal and communication skills including excellent stakeholder engagement
  • In-depth knowledge of full-cycle recruiting and employer branding techniques 
  • Familiarity with a variety of different selection methods (interviews, assignments, psychological test etc.)
