Context & Environment

The GRP (Gas, Renewables & Power) branch brings together TotalEnergies’ activities in gas, electricity, and renewable energies. It carries the Company’s ambition in low‑carbon businesses as well as in energy‑efficiency activities.

Within TotalEnergies Renewables Distributed Generation, a major player in decentralized solar solutions (rooftop photovoltaic systems, solar carports, ground‑mounted plants), the HSE intern will join an international team operating in a dynamic, operational, and multicultural environment. The scope covers both development and operational projects, with strong interaction between HSE teams, operational teams, and external partners.

This internship is anchored in field activities, with a strong focus on risk prevention, monitoring of HSE observations, and deployment of operational tools aimed at strengthening the safety culture and ensuring compliance with the Group’s HSE requirements.

The purpose of this internship is to contribute to the identification, analysis, and prevention of HSE risks on TotalEnergies Renewables Distributed Generation projects. It also aims to support the continuous improvement of field observation monitoring—whether anomalies or good practices—and to assist in the deployment and appropriation of HSE requirements through simple, concrete, and operational tools adapted to field realities.

Activiteiten

As an HSE intern M/F, you will contribute to the identification and analysis of HSE risks by detecting hazardous situations in the field, such as anomalies, risky working conditions, rooftop access, situations involving simultaneous operations or overcrowding, and by helping propose appropriate corrective measures.

You will also support the monitoring of field observations by contributing to the processing of HSE data, including anomalies and good practices, using observation grids and updating HSE indicators such as anomaly rates, equipment compliance, and the follow‑up of corrective actions.

A significant part of your internship will consist in supporting the implementation of HSE requirements in the field by helping translate them into concrete actions. This will include creating or adapting operational tools such as document templates, tracking sheets, checklists, or field communication materials to facilitate compliance with HSE requirements and the management of safety actions.

You will also participate in the monitoring and reporting of HSE indicators by using Microsoft Excel and Power BI to develop dashboards and simple analyses, as well as in the recording, monitoring, and closure of observations in internal HSE management tools such as Maestro or equivalent platforms.

Finally, the internship will involve close collaboration with operational and HSE teams.
You will contribute to exchanges and coordination activities through Microsoft Teams and Outlook, and will help disseminate good practices and prevention messages related to health, safety, and the environment.

You will work within a team of experienced professionals and alongside a tutor‑coach who will be your reference for your future profession. Tailored support will help you develop autonomy and guide you toward completing your degree.

Profiel kandidaat

Are you currently enrolled in an engineering school or a Master’s program in the HSE field, and looking for a six‑month end‑of‑studies internship starting in April 2026?

With a first experience in HSE, you have knowledge of HSE risk identification, field anomaly monitoring, and implementation of HSE requirements?

You are comfortable with office tools and familiar with the Microsoft Office suite? You will specifically use Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Do you have proficiency in Power BI?

Autonomy, rigor, and team spirit are essential qualities for you? You know how to take initiative?

Strong writing skills and a professional command of English will be essential for this role.

If you recognize yourself in this profile, don’t hesitate—join the TotalEnergies adventure!
