External job description/Activities

As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for operating facilities safely and efficiently within established procedures and the Operating Envelope. Acting as Area Authority, you will ensure Permit to Work compliance, safe isolations, and readiness of work locations.

 

During a typical working day, your responsibilities include:

  • Operating facilities on a day-to-day basis within the Operating Envelope
  • Acting as Area Authority Representative for Permit to Work (PtW) compliance
  • Performing isolations and breaking of containment prior to work
  • Conducting daily rounds to monitor facilities and log operational data
  • Carrying out gas, NORM, and other safety tests before releasing work
  • Executing first-level maintenance and performing random audits
  • Ensuring tidy, safe work environments and adherence to emergency procedures
  • Maintaining competence through training, drills, and OPERCAP assessments

 

This position offers a unique opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of offshore process and production operations, providing a strong foundation for further development within the organization.

Profiel kandidaat

Who we are looking for

You possess a strong safety mindset and approach tasks with a clear understanding of both business and people. You thrive in a highly independent and visible role and enjoy working in a dynamic offshore environment.

 

You are structured, analytical, and detail-oriented, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. As a team player, you build relationships and collaborate effectively to achieve shared goals while maintaining a strong focus on HSE standards and safe operations. 

 

Your background

  • Educational background as Process Technician or skilled craftsman with a relevant diploma
  • Experience in process operations, preferably within Oil & Gas
  • Strong safety mindset with solid understanding of HSE standards 
  • Structured, detail‑oriented, and able to follow procedures precisely 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills 
  • Proficiency in oral and written English; Danish is a strong advantage

 

Additional requirements

  • Candidates may be asked to present a criminal record certificate during the final recruitment stages
  • Upon hiring, offshore employees must be able to obtain an offshore medical certificate (provided through the company’s medical provider)
