You will join the Middle Office team in Paris, located on the same floor as the European Short-Term Trading team in the CBX tower. The Middle Office department is responsible for publishing the official PnL. Middle office is working closely with the Front Office, Back office, Energy Data Management team, Finance and performance team, particularly on contract/transaction modelling in the ERTM, contract/asset valuation and PnL. The middle office is also in charge of price controls, physical indicators affecting the PnL, and risks indicators related to short-term activities.

As a Middle Office Analyst Power Trading M/F trainee, you'll have the opportunity for our Middle Office to advance in developing tools and solutions to better manage daily reporting and reduce operational risks. The internship will provide solid knowledge of short-term products, their specificities, and mechanisms. Our Short-Term Trading team is active across several markets and optimizes various assets on the Day-Ahead and Intraday horizons using different strategies. With the support of team members and the supervisor, the internship will be responsible for publishing the Pnl on daily basis, improve and propose reporting solutions.
