Profiel kandidaat

  •  At least a first degree (minimum of 2nd Class Upper division) in Accounting or Equivalent or partly Professional Accounting qualification 
  • With at least 3 years working experience in similar position.
  • Must be proactive and focused with strong attention to details
  • Have a strong numeracy and negotiation skills
  • Must be dedicated, reliable and inspire confidence
  • Must be able to take decisions and willing to learn
  • Must be able to communicate effectively

Activiteiten

  • Book Intra-day customer cheque payments across all banks.
  • Daily monitoring of bank statements to confirm and process same day customer transfers/deposits.
  • Liaise with the business team and banks to ensure customer names codes are properly captured on bank statements.  
  • Reconcile and analyze E-Payment transactions (VISA, Momo, USSD, QR) for all banks; Send combine report to stakeholders (Retail Network, Cards & E-Business team etc.) monthly/Quarterly
  • Prepare weekly analysis of forex exposure reports for Treasury Manager’s review.
  • Prepare monthly receivables analysis for incorporation in treasury cashflow report
  • Review of Bank Transit accounts and clear open items.
  • Follow up on outstanding items on bank reconciliation and ensure closure.
  • Prepare required incoming payment corrections/reversals for TM / CA authorization
  • Monitor and maintain post-dated cheques register.
  • Updating Exchange Rates in SAP and reporting on exchange rate trends.
  • Any other duties as delegated by the Treasury Manager.

TEMG currently operates 14 banks with 46 bank accounts in various currencies (GHS, USD, EUR).

Treasury Officer (Receivables) job consists of managing deposits and remittances made by customers (cheques, E-PaymentsBank transfer/remittances) on daily from customers

. A good number of our clients prefer to make payments via bank transfers with banks performing cash collection service across network stations.

 These in total represent a significant amount of TEMG's total cash inflowit therefore demands close monitoring and accurate capturing on customers’ accounts
