Context & Environment

  • The role is focused on optimising the performance of a defined portfolio of service stations operated by independent dealers within a highly competitive and margin-constrained environment.

  • The Network Business Specialist (Territory Manager) operates in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment, managing both the commercial relationship and contractual obligations with dealers. Success in this role requires balancing dealer autonomy with business performance, compliance, and brand standards.

  • To achieve this, the incumbent must build strong internal relationships and collaborate effectively across functions, ensuring the necessary support and alignment to drive results.

    Ultimately, the Network Business Specialist is fully accountable for the overall performance, compliance, and operational excellence of their territory

Activiteiten

 Territory Manager handles day-to-day operations at sites in his / her area:

Operational & Contract Management

  • Manage the commercial aspects of dealer contracts, including implementation, renewals, transfers, and terminations
  • Oversee onboarding of new dealers and ensure smooth operational transitions
  • Monitor and recover receivables, ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments
  • Conduct a minimum of 15 site visits per month and maintain detailed reports on SALSA
  • Spend at least 70% of time in the field, supporting and monitoring service stations
  • Ensure compliance with contractual maintenance responsibilities and provide feedback to relevant departments

Network Development & Portfolio Growth

  • Support network development strategy in collaboration with Retail Investment and Development teams
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities and recommend appropriate commercial terms
  • Conduct ongoing market and competitor analysis, including pricing, services, and innovations
  • Engage key stakeholders through structured annual meetings to drive network optimization

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Monitor key performance indicators, including GMVC, and address negative variances
  • Analyse Monthly Contribution Accounts (NCA) and investigate deviations against budget
  • Track fuel sales (daily/weekly) and diversification sales (monthly) across sites
  • Provide accurate reporting and insights to management and support functions
  • Facilitate data accuracy by reporting anomalies to Management Control

Financial & P&L Management

  • Prepare annual P&L forecasts for CODO sites and recommend rental structures
  • Monitor dealer financial health and proactively manage financial risks
  • Contribute to budgeting processes and capital expenditure planning
  • Support financial governance through effective cost and asset control

Retail Excellence & Commercial Activation

  • Ensure implementation of network standards across forecourt, shop, food, and carwash operations
  • Monitor site quality using Top Service tools and implement corrective action plans
  • Drive promotions, activations, and dealer performance improvement initiatives
  • Build strong, proactive relationships with dealers to support business growth

HSSEQ Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Security, Environment, and Quality standards across all sites
  • Monitor wet stock management and investigate losses where necessary
  • Oversee adherence to product delivery and handling procedures
  • Report and follow up on incidents, including root cause analysis and feedback reporting
  • Ensure full compliance with Group HSEQ and HACCP standard

Profiel kandidaat

  • Business Degree and 3 years experience gained in a petrochemical, production or business environment
  • Understanding of TNA Network and supporting functions business models and processes
  • Knowledge and deep entrenchment of Total’s ambitions and values as well as roadmaps, including TSA’s policies and procedures 
  • People Management  and Communication Skills 

    English is the working language
