*Key Activities:

Business Planning & Budgeting:
- Develop the annual B2C business plan (including small packs: PCMO, DEO, AOO & MCO) and set budgets for volume, turnover, GMVC, and objectives for assigned Distribution Partners.

Distributor Management & Sales Execution:

- Manage Distribution Partners to design and implement sales plans aimed at achieving pre-defined targets.

- Provide coaching and leadership to distributor teams, PSD, and internal sales teams to ensure effective execution.

Sell-Out Performance & Market Insights:

- Drive sell-out quality by focusing on volume growth, end-customer database development, and actionable insights.

- Monitor market dynamics, including competitor activities, market share, strengths/weaknesses versus TEMV, and report promptly.

Channel Development & ROI Optimization:

- Recruit, retain, and develop QAS and HPMS, ensuring targeted ROI is achieved and improved year-on-year.

- Lead distribution partners to expand coverage to grow.

Brand & Trade Marketing Management:

- Ensure strong brand visibility, product availability, and efficiency of company investments across customers, distributors, and PSD.

- Oversee proper execution of trade and consumer promotion programs supported by TEMV.

Sales Forecasting & Inventory Management:

- Provide accurate monthly sales forecasts in compliance with company procedures to secure optimal stock supply for distributors and end customers.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Work closely with Marketing to implement product and POSM displays that enhance customer engagement along the Path-to-Purchase.

- Coordinate with the Technical team to deliver value-added services to customers and ensure technical resources are deployed effectively.

People Development & Best Practices:

- Support training and development initiatives for sales staff to maintain market leadership and promote best practices.

- Develop ASM to build strong manpower and talent to company. 

Reporting & Compliance:

- Ensure all required reports are accurate, timely, and aligned with company standards.

- Collaborate with other departments to achieve TotalEnergies Marketing Vietnam’s overall objectives.

HSE Tasks for Manager:

- Participate in fire drills and be familiar with evacuation routes and assembly points.

- Ensure proper housekeeping by keeping walkways and emergency exits clear of obstructions.

- Report and document any workplace hazards, near-misses, or incidents to the appropriate personnel or HSE coordinator.

- Attend basic first aid training if requested by the Company.

- Safely store and use electrical equipment and promptly report any faulty or damaged devices.

- Stay informed about emergency contacts and procedures for medical or safety incidents within the office.

- Managers should consistently demonstrate safe behaviors and practices, setting a positive example for their team members to follow. This includes wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to all safety protocols.

- Ensure that all team members receive adequate HSE training and have access to necessary resources, such as safety equipment and information on emergency procedures.

- Create an environment where employees feel comfortable reporting hazards, near-misses, and incidents without fear of reprisal. Act on these reports to improve workplace safety.

Fulfill other tasks and/or assignments requested by the line managers whom the employee directly/indirectly reports to, and/or tasks requested by the Board of Management.

What is the required qualification level for the position? Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA will be a plus.

What are the technical skills required? Refer Automatic knowledge

  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and ability to manage complex distribution networks.
  • Proven track record in driving growth, managing investments, and leading high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

 Which specific knowledges are required for the position?

  • Economic and automotive industry fundamentals 
  • Basic marketing

  • Basic finance

What language skills are required? Fluency in both Vietnamese and English.

What is the required level of experience for the position? 

At least 5 years of experience in Sales Leadership, Distribution developing and Distributor management roles preferably in Lubricant, Automotive, FMCG.
