Context & Environment

  1. Operates within a lubricant manufacturing plant involving base oil handling, additive systems, blending vessels, filling lines, and bulk dispatch.
  2. Works in a safety-critical environment requiring strict compliance with HSE, process safety, and Energy Isolation (LOTO) procedures.
  3. Daily interaction with operators, shift supervisors, laboratory personnel, maintenance teams, and logistics.
  4. Role may require shift support, extended hours, or on-call availability during critical production or shutdown activities

Activiteiten

  1. Implement all the requirements in the designated area for issued QHSE policy / procedures / guidelines and for ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007. 
  2. Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production activities related to lubricant blending, filling, and bulk loading operations.
  3. Execute production plans in line with approved schedules, formulations, and quality standards.
  4. Monitor blending processes, batch execution, additive dosing, and filling line performance.
  5. Coordinate closely with Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and HSE to ensure smooth and safe operations.
  6. Support troubleshooting of process deviations, equipment failures, and quality non-conformities.
  7. Develop, maintain, and analyze production reports, including daily production reports, reconciliation reports, and OEE analysis.
  8. Track production performance, losses, downtime, and variances against targets, and highlight deviations.
  9. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, cost reduction, yield improvement, and waste minimization.
  10. Support commissioning, start-up, and validation of new products, process changes, or equipment modifications.
  11. Monitor and validate raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory related to blending and filling operations.
  12. Support cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and variance investigations in coordination with Supply Chain and Finance

Profiel kandidaat

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
  2. 3-5 years of experience in a lubricant blending and filling plant or similar process manufacturing environment.
  3. Solid understanding of filling, blending operations.
  4. Knowledge of HSE requirements, process safety principles, and Energy Isolation (LOTO) practices.
  5. Experience in production reporting, reconciliation, and OEE analysis.
  6. Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
  7. Ability to work effectively with shopfloor teams and cross-functional stakeholders
