Context & Environment

The IT Manager – Infrastructure & Cybersecurity role operates within a hybrid IT environment integrating locally managed infrastructure with TotalEnergies Group platforms, shared services, and external providers. The position requires close coordination with central IT and cybersecurity teams, Operations, and business stakeholders. Availability outside standard business hours may be required for major incidents or critical maintenance.

This is a management role responsible for the reliability, availability, performance, and security of all IT infrastructure and cybersecurity operations at TEEP Barnett USA. The role has end‑to‑end operational responsibility for on‑premise, cloud, and third‑party–hosted infrastructure environments and for the local application of TotalEnergies Group cybersecurity requirements. 

Infrastructure scope includes, but is not limited to: 

  • Wide Area and Local Area network topology (wired and wireless) 
  • Network and perimeter security (firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS) 
  • Servers, storage, virtualization platforms, and operating systems 
  • Cloud and hybrid IT environments 
  • Identity, access management, and endpoint security platforms 
  • SCADA‑related infrastructure located in the data center, including radio (microwave) and Ethernet backbone networks and firewall endpoints supporting well‑pad connectivity 

Local Enterprise Cybersecurity Officer (LeCSO) 

In this role, the IT Manager – Infrastructure & Cybersecurity serves as the Local Enterprise Cybersecurity Officer (LeCSO) for TEEP Barnett and is positioned as the operational owner of cybersecurity at affiliate / site level

The LeCSO: 

  • Applies and enforces TotalEnergies Group cybersecurity requirements and policies locally 
  • Acts as the single point of contact for and works closely with TotalEnergies HQ cybersecurity teams
  • Coordinates cybersecurity detection, remediation, follow‑up, and reporting 
  • Leads or coordinates: 
  1. Vulnerability management and remediation follow‑up 
  2. Patch management follow‑up 
  1. Cybersecurity audits, findings, and local action plans 
  2. Cyber inventories (CMDB / application and platform mapping

Activiteiten

Personnel & Leadership 

  • Lead, mentor, and develop infrastructure and cybersecurity teams 
  • Define objectives, assign responsibilities, and evaluate performance of direct reports 
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and professional development 
  • Promote a culture of operational excellence, security awareness, and accountability 

Infrastructure Management 

  • Define and maintain secure, resilient, and scalable infrastructure architectures 
  • Ensure high availability and performance of business‑critical systems 
  • Oversee lifecycle management, upgrades, and technology refresh programs 
  • Act as escalation authority for major infrastructure and cybersecurity incidents 

Cybersecurity Operations 

  • Perform the LeCSO role as defined by TotalEnergies 
  • Coordinate cybersecurity monitoring, incident response, and remediation activities 
  • Track vulnerabilities, remediation actions, and KPIs; report regularly to the Director of IT and HQ cyber teams 
  • Ensure cybersecurity requirements are embedded into infrastructure designs and operational processes 

Strategy, Architecture & Execution 

  • Contribute to infrastructure and cybersecurity strategy in alignment with the Director of IT 
  • Translate business, operational, and regulatory requirements into technical and security solutions 
  • Ensure local alignment with TotalEnergies Group IT and cybersecurity standards 

Vendor & Service Management 

  • Manage relationships with infrastructure and cybersecurity service providers 
  • Ensure vendor compliance with contractual SLAs, cybersecurity clauses, and performance expectations 
  • Participate in vendor assessments, audits, and renewal decisions 

Quality, Compliance & Controls 

  • Ensure compliance with IT general controls, cybersecurity controls, and audit requirements 
  • Support internal and external audits and manage remediation plans 
  • Maintain documentation for systems, architectures, cybersecurity processes, and incident handling 

Change & Performance Management 

  • Oversee infrastructure and cybersecurity change management processes 
  • Approve and document standard and emergency changes within delegated authority 
  • Monitor capacity, performance, and resilience; initiate improvement actions 

Business Continuity & Resilience 

  • Oversee disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity solutions for IT infrastructure 
  • Contribute to Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and recovery strategy definition
  • Ensure testing, documentation, and continuous improvement of resilience capabilities 


Profiel kandidaat

  • College degree in computer science or related field,
  • 7+ years of experience including systems engineering, systems architecture and direct-report management.
  • 7+ years of direct experience installing, configuring and managing Microsoft infrastructure service technologies in a Corporate environment.
  • 5+ years of direct experience working with security technologies associated with Corporate networks, business units and desktop users.
