Context & Environment

Are you preparing to join the Energy and Processes (ENEP) program at IFP School in Rueil‑Malmaison?

At TotalEnergies, and more specifically across various entities of the Company, we offer Bac+4 / Bac+5 engineering students the opportunity to join our teams on an apprenticeship contract, apply their technical knowledge, develop key industry skills, and contribute to the energy transition.

During your apprenticeship, you will alternate between IFP School (Rueil‑Malmaison, 92) and one of our TotalEnergies sites located in Île‑de‑France (Paris La Défense, 92) or in other regions (Normandy Platform (76), Feyzin (69), Donges (44), Oudalle, or the Research Center in Rogerville (76) – examples of possible locations).

Join a dynamic and innovative team to develop your skills and contribute to ambitious projects.

Joining TotalEnergies means joining a global multi-energy company producing and supplying all forms of energy: oil and biofuels, natural gas and green gases, renewables, and electricity.

Activiteiten

By joining our teams, you may be involved in (non‑exhaustive list) :

_Digitalization of tools for industrial sites, technical support and troubleshooting.

_On‑site energy monitoring of fuels and boilers, real‑time optimization using Power BI, and contribution to improving energy performance in line with ISO 50001.

_Process optimization of distillation columns (reboiling optimization and improved energy efficiency).

_Daily analysis of energy performance for production units in collaboration with Process and Operations teams; contribution to CO regulatory reporting; measurement and optimization of energy consumption balances.

_Technical support to our affiliates for operational needs.

_Case study and technology assessment on alternative energy solutions: management of gas turbine intermittency, carbon capture intermittency, advanced storage services beyond primary and secondary grid services, including techno‑economic evaluation and potential business models aligned with regulatory frameworks.
